I found this site after unsuccessfully listing my fld120 on e-bay. currently own f350 crew cab dually diesel and pull a 95 prowler 27x but this motorhome conversion idea is the way to go ! would sell my current rig but would fall short of an 80k conversion!! could a 28'mh be done cheaper or are there sources for one off DIYs - was thinking about a 28' van body - could a slide unit be bought separately???? thanks in advance for your advice

I suppose if you knew how to specify what you wanted you could have the home body built to your spec and then mount it to your frame. Seems like even the basic showhauler frame could be built by many other shops if they had a good plan to work from. I am having a hard time deciding if I want just a tow vehicle with a lounge or motorhome that tows a car trailer. I have a lot of ideas. I think with some space and a little help, I could build a pretty good shell. Guys have done it. I think your post should get more responses.

Thanks for your reply - I also thought about attatching a bus body to the back of the sleeper - my cab is air ride but the sleeper is solid mounted.I'm in favor of motorhome/car trailer option because of the extra storage/living area. By the way your preference of cabs is excellent, at least in the looks dep't.
