I used to see a bolt on overdrive assembly for automatics. Does anybody know of a source for these? I have a service truck that needs more top end and I cannot change the ring and pinion becouse international built this unit strictly for this ratio and does not make any other set. Thaks, Wick
.....U.S. GEAR OR GEAR VENDORS....IIRC.been a long time since I have seen/thought about any till Sunday morning at the Rally at Perry Georgia-and here was a booth with U.S. Gear in the Multi purpose building.....geofkaye
I have the gear vendor on my F350, 5spd, but they build the auto matic version also. One of the best investments on the one ton other than the Banks System that I made.
Good company, great service and rock solid unit.

If you crawl under the tuck there should be a tag on the axle that will tell you what axle it is and what the current gear ration is. Today manufactures use commecially available axles and generally do not build there own axles. Any good truck axle shop can probably change the axle ratio.
